Hello and welcome to ranchbots, the site for robotics down in "the ranch", Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Suburban America incarnate.

I am your host, Kerwin Lumpkins. I'm an electrical engineer by trade, roboticist by hobby. Former US Marine. At this site you will find technical info on my robot projects, schematics, source code, photos, etc.

Robot Projects is a page with info about my robot projects.

DARC is the Denver Area Robotics Club, an organization for devotees of this hobby in and around Denver. We meet each month. Clik on "DARC" for more info about meetings and events.

DARC Board is a page about my Atmel microcontroller robotics development board that I designed for use by DARC members. I have also designed other circuit boards to work with it. Clik on "DARC Boards" for info about these items.

The Lair is my home lab, down in the basement. Clik on The Lair to see photos and details on my lab.

I recommend some books and other web sites and general info about robotics at the "Links,Books,?" page.

I don't maintain my Motorola HC08 page much these days, but if you are interested in the material there you can jump there with the link.

If you want to email me you can clik on "Contact me" at any page to send an email.

Here I am during a cameo appearance on the 60's TV Show, Lost in Space. The robot B9 is telling me that I should wear a clip on bowtie and my expression says it all. "Would Sinatra wear a clip on bowtie?" A more recent photo of me in the lair with one of my Frankensteined -but dear to my heart nonetheless- robot creations.
