The DARC DC Motor Controller Board is based on the ST L298 Full H Bridge Driver IC. There are two of these ICs mounted on the boad allowing the user to control up to 4 DC motors or 2 stepper motors. Each L298 IC can handle 4A of current so it is a pretty hefty motor driver board. I have heat sinks that will mount to the L298s but they are not in this photo for clarity.

The board shown was made by PCBFabExpress.com based in California. They do 5 boards at $13 each unless you exceed 25 holes per inch like I did on this board for which they chage you another $50 per order. I recommend pcbfaxexpress. Good customer service and good quality boards.
